PROGRAM

Mesojet

MesoJet facial treatment

Hydrate and refresh skin for a brighter look with needle-free infusion technology

Dry skin, makeup that does not stay on, or a dull complexion may be signs that the skin needs extra care, both in hydration and in appropriate exfoliation.

The MesoJet program is an alternative for those who want to improve skin quality without needle injections of nourishing ingredients. It uses a high-speed stream of fine liquid droplets to prepare the skin and carry nourishing ingredients into it, with serum formulas selected to match each person's concern.

MesoJet skin treatment

What is MesoJet?

MesoJet is a technology designed in Italy for delivering nourishing ingredients into the skin without needles, known as Needle-free Transdermal Infusion.

Its core system, called Hydroporation, uses a high-speed stream of fine liquid droplets to help exfoliate the outer layer of skin and increase the permeability of nourishing ingredients, without piercing the skin with needles as in conventional mesotherapy injections.

MesoJet is available in a Hydroporation model, a Radiofrequency model, and a model combining both systems, so the steps you receive differ depending on the device model and the clinic's treatment plan.

How MesoJet works

1. Preparing the skin with a stream of liquid droplets

The Jet handpiece delivers a high-speed stream of fine liquid droplets onto the skin to help remove accumulated outer skin cells. This step prepares the skin before nourishing ingredients are introduced, and the provider selects the pressure, distance, and handpiece movement to suit the skin condition.

2. Increasing permeability with Hydroporation

The force of the Jet stream causes the skin it touches to stretch temporarily. The manufacturer calls this mechanism Barophoresis; it temporarily widens small channels in the epidermis and helps liquid pass into the skin. The selected serum can therefore be introduced without a needle. However, the degree of penetration depends on the formula, the settings, and the skin condition, and does not mean every ingredient reaches the same depth or is fully absorbed.

3. Choosing ingredients to match the skin concern

The formulas used with the device may contain ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, peptides, or antioxidants, chosen according to the care goal. Dry skin may call for a focus on hydration, while dull skin or fine lines may call for formulas that also support skin tone and skin quality. Results therefore depend on both the technology and the formula used with it.

4. Adding skin-firming care with RF when appropriate

For models with a Radiofrequency (RF) system, the provider can use radio-frequency energy to create heat to address skin laxity, fine lines, and other aspects of skin quality. The system offers Monopolar for body care and Bipolar for the face, neck, and décolletage, depending on the handpiece and protocol used.

What does MesoJet help with?

Results depend on the serum formula and the steps chosen. The care goals are as follows.

Hydration

Helps dry or dehydrated skin look softer and plumper

Skin texture

Helps skin look smoother through appropriate exfoliation

Dull, tired skin

Helps skin look brighter with a more even tone

Fine lines

Especially lines that become more visible when skin is dry

Oily or acne-prone skin

With formulas suited to the skin condition

Added firmness

When combined with the RF system, as assessed

This program does not replace treatment for melasma, acne, or every type of skin condition. People with these concerns should have the cause assessed as well.

Who is the MesoJet program suitable for?

This program suits those who

  • Have dry or dehydrated skin, or makeup that does not stay on
  • Feel their skin looks dull and tired
  • Have uneven skin texture and want appropriate exfoliation
  • Have fine lines related to skin dryness
  • Want to renew skin without needle injections of nourishing ingredients
  • Want skin care with little downtime

Sensitive skin does not mean every formula is suitable. If the skin is inflamed, stinging and red, or reacting to products, the doctor should assess it before choosing the pressure and ingredients.

Preparing before treatment

01

Tell the provider about your skin concerns, including any drug allergies and skin care ingredient allergies.

02

Tell the provider about current medications and recent procedures, such as laser, peels, or fillers.

03

If the skin has a wound, cold sore, rash, or infection, tell the clinic before treatment.

04

Ask about pausing scrubs, exfoliating acids, or retinoids, depending on your skin and the formula to be used.

05

If an RF step is included, tell the provider about any electrical devices or metal implants in the body, and about pregnancy, so suitability can be assessed.

06

Do not stop regular medication on your own.

Aftercare

  • Cleanse with a gentle product and avoid scrubbing.
  • Use a moisturizer to maintain hydration.
  • Apply sunscreen and avoid strong sun.
  • Pause scrubs and exfoliating products as advised, especially when an exfoliating formula was used.
  • If the skin is still red, stinging, or irritated, pause makeup.
  • If a rash, swelling, or unusual burning occurs, contact the clinic.

Aftercare may differ depending on the serum formula, the intensity of exfoliation, and whether RF was used.

Frequently asked questions about MesoJet

A: MesoJet uses a stream of fine liquid droplets to help carry nourishing ingredients through the skin, while mesotherapy injections use a needle to deliver ingredients to a specific location and depth. The delivery method and results are therefore not the same, and the two should not be expected to be interchangeable in every case.

A: You may feel coolness, spray pressure, or tingling on the skin. If RF is also used, you will feel warmth. Sensations vary with pressure, serum formula, and individual sensitivity, so it cannot be guaranteed that there will be no discomfort at all.

A: Some people may feel their skin is hydrated, soft, and brighter after treatment. Effects on dark spots, fine lines, or firmness need to be assessed over time according to the concern and the steps received.

A: The number of sessions and the interval depend on skin condition, the chosen formula, and the care goal. Results should be assessed after treatment before planning the next session.

A: In general you may return to your routine soon after treatment, but redness, stinging, or irritation may still occur, especially with exfoliating formulas, so allow time as advised by the clinic.

A: It may be possible in some cases after the skin and ingredients are assessed. Being needle-free does not prevent allergy to a serum or irritation from the spray pressure, so the formula and settings must be chosen appropriately.

A: Not necessarily. There are several device models and care approaches; some programs use only Hydroporation, while others add RF. Check the details before treatment.

A: There are formulas for scalp and hair care, but hair loss has many causes. Choosing a program should start with a diagnosis, and it should not automatically replace treatment of the underlying cause.

Results vary between individuals depending on skin condition, the formula used, and the treatment steps. An assessment is required before treatment.
